Upcoming Dance Opportunities
Here are the upcoming dance opportunities for the summer:
July 6th - New Country Line Dancing at the HUB
Monday nights, starting July 6th (July 6, July 13, July 20, July 27), 7:00pm - 8:00pm, The HUB Gymnasium (2375 Koksilah Rd, Duncan). $50 / person for the entire series (cash at the door). Drop-ins welcome: $15 / person / session (cash at the door). (*E-transfer payment is also an option. Please contact us.) There will be plenty of room for all your friends, so invite them too! Johanna will be playing with "Soul Kitchen", her R&B band, at Duncan Days this year at 11:00am on July 10th. Not sure what the set up is for dancing, but they'll be playing fun dance tunes for West Coast Swing and Blues dancing!
July 11th - Sock Hop in Youbou
In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Youbou Bowling Alley, they're having a sock hop with live music from "Thick as Thieves", playing classic jitterbug tunes. 8550 Hemlock St, Youbou.
August 12th - 39 Days of July Wind Down - Soul Band
"Soul Kitchen" will be performing on the big stage in the square, Wednesday August 12th at 5:30pm.
Our group partner dance lessons will start up again in September.
